Frommer's Review
This tropical setting is home to what's called an "agro-eco" resort, with some 38 different flowers and fruit trees growing on the 2-hectare (5-acre) organic farm. When you finally reach the place after a harrowing ride, you can enjoy the cool mountain breezes 480m (1,580 ft.) above sea level, at a point some 8km (5 miles) from Roseau. In 1995, Fae and Altherton Martin built this cluster of cottages on the western slope of Mount Anglais in the southern half of the island. The resort's cottages are constructed from hardwoods, cured pine, and stone. Accommodations are comfortable and tastefully furnished, each with a private porch, spacious living room, kitchen, large bedroom with two double beds, and private bathrooms with tub/shower combos. All are nonsmoking. You can go wading in a nearby stream, a 5-minute walk away.
You can prepare your own meals or dine at the Sugar Apple Cafe, enjoying such delights as steamed local fish or apricot-glazed chicken with savory rice.
