Winding your way to this little guesthouse just outside of Donegal Town is an effort well rewarded. A modern home of stature and character, beautifully set at the foot of the Blue Stack Mountains, Rhu-Gorse has a North Woods feel, with a big stone fireplace, open beams, thick duvets on the soft beds, and custom-fitted pine furniture. Best of all are the extraordinary views of Lough Eske and the encircling mountains from the guest rooms.
