Getting There -- If you're driving from San Juan, take Expressway 22 west. Take Exit 22-A to get on Route 165 north to Dorado. Alternately, you can take the meandering coastal route along Highway 2 west to Route 693 north to Dorado (trip time: 40 min.). You'll pass a couple interesting beaches and coastal lookouts, as well as a fine spots to eat.
