This ultrasmart restaurant, ensconced in the U2-owned Clarence hotel, is guaranteed to deliver one of your most memorable meals in Ireland. This gorgeous room's soaring yet understated lines are the perfect backdrop for the complex but controlled cooking that takes form in dishes like filet of John Dory with wild mushroom and razor clams, or red leg partridge with juniper flavored jus. New executive chef Fred Cordonnier has also introduced a fixed-price "Simply Cooked" menu, offering more straightforward fare for €39 ($50), although this isn't available on Friday or Saturday nights.
