This sophisticated hotel has recently undergone a full makeover that brightened the hotel lobby, with its friendly restaurant and bar, cushy sofas, and soothingly elegant furnishings. The relatively small guest rooms have been redone in a muted gold-and-purple color scheme that won't appeal to everyone.
