Frommer's Review
If you love luxury but hate big chain hotels, look no further than this sumptuously restored Georgian town house right on St. Stephen's Green. Originally a gentleman's club, it is now a small, classy boutique hotel. Downstairs is all Georgian splendor: comfy wingback chairs, rich upholstery, ornate ceiling plasterwork. The 11 guest rooms come in all shapes and sizes, and are sumptuously decorated with period furnishings, marble bathrooms, and unique architectural details. If you splurge on the Thomas Leighton suite, you'll sleep on a magnificent king-size mahogany bed that once belonged to Marilyn Monroe. Downstairs, the elegant brasserie serves up excellent French fare.
