Frommer's Review
Tucked between St. Stephen's Green and Merrion Street, this enclave is widely heralded as the granddaddy of traditional-music pubs. A spontaneous session is likely to erupt at almost any time of the day or night, but it's become very touristy, and I don't consider it local or authentic in terms of clientele. They put on a show for tourists, and it's a bit dull compared to some of the more authentic places.
