Frommer's Review
This tranquil country hotel, only a 30-minute drive from Edinburgh, is on 4.8 hectares (12 acres) of forested land and gardens and offers lots of leisure facilities. The bedrooms are generous in size and well appointed, each with such amenities as a writing desk and midsize bathrooms (some with tubs). Master bedrooms contain four-poster beds. The hotel offers fine, formal dining in its Cardoon restaurant and an on-site cocktail lounge.
