A bit of a haul from the city center, this venue was meant to compete with the likes of Glasgow's infamous Barrowland ballroom, where touring groups absolutely love to appear. No comparison, really, but not a bad medium- to small-size hall (3,000 capacity) to see rock and pop performers (Radiohead or Justin Timberlake) and acts with more cultlike followings, such as the Raconteurs, Massive Attack, or the Streets.
