Frommer's Review
The Bailie is at the heart of the village of Stockbridge and feels as if it could substitute as a public meeting hall for the neighborhood. Newspapers are stacked on the counter at the front door of this sub-ground-level, traditional pub (and the day's news is posted in the men's restroom, as well). Often there is plenty of banter between the regulars and the staff, and no music ever drowns out the conversation here. A bit of live folk is often played on Sunday evenings, and a dining room is adjacent to the main lounge with its island bar. Drinks are served Monday to Thursday from 11am to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 1am, and Sunday from 12:30pm to 11pm. Food is available Monday to Thursday 11am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm, and Sunday from 12:30 to 5pm.
