There is something for every wallet in El Valle, with good budget accommodations, B&Bs, and two upscale hotels. Park Eden, Casa de Lourdes, and Los Capitanes hotels have rooms for those with disabilities, which is not common in Panama. Note that some hotels jack up their prices on weekends, even during low season. In addition to the lodging options listed below, the Residencial el Valle (tel. 983-6536 or 6615-9616; www.hotelresidencialelvalle.com) on main street in town offers 17 basic but comfortable rooms at $40 (£20) a night. There is also a handicraft store downstairs.
