Arriving
There is no direct rail service to Ericeira.
By Bus -- Mafrense buses from both Sintra and Lisbon serve Ericeira. One bus per hour leaves Lisbon's Largo Martim Moniz for the 1 1/4-hour trip. A one-way ticket costs 4.50€ ($5.85). From Sintra, there's one bus per hour. The trip takes 1 hour and costs 2.50€ ($3.25) one-way.
By Car -- From Sintra, continue northwest along Route 247.
Visitor Information
The Ericeira Tourist Office is at Rua Dr. Eduardo Burnay 46 (tel. 26/186-31-22; www.ericeira.net). It's open daily 9:30am to 7pm, and Saturday 9:30am to 10pm.
