Frommer's Review
If you're wandering along rue Laâlouj, pop your head into the Musée Sidi Mohammed ben Abdallah, located next to the post office. Named after the town's founding father, this recently renovated, two-story, 19th-century mansion hosts an interesting collection of old coins, antique carpets, weapons, and examples of traditional Moroccan dress, along with a small gallery of pictures of late-19th-century Essaouira.
