Frommer's Review
This cavernous cafe is in a quiet section of the medina and attracts a young crowd of both locals and travelers who enjoy the mainly veggie dishes and chilled-out ambience. The largely un-Moroccan menu is a breath of fresh air, and mirrors the young and modern English-speaking staff, ably led by manager Saïd Enmili. Miso or bissara (fava bean) soups, fresh and crunchy salads, omelets, and specialties such as vegetarian lasagna are joined by delicious delights such as buckwheat pancakes -- try the carrot and pumpkin. For something sweet, try the daily fruit tart, perhaps accompanied by a freshly squeezed juice (try the carrot, lemon, and garlic if you're feeling a bit run down) or one of a large selection of herbal and chai teas. The stone and tadelakt interior consists of a ground floor and mezzanine level, with low-lying candle-lit tables and artwork from up-and-coming local artists. It's Wi-Fi connected, and on selected nights Saïd sets up the DVD player and screens various environmental, wildlife, and cultural movies.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
