Frommer's Review
One of the most luxurious retreats in this part of the Costa del Sol, this modern resort hotel allows you to enjoy a lush, elegant lifestyle. Between the main coastal route and the beach, the Kempinski borrowed heavily from nearby Morocco to create this oasis of charm and grace with hanging gardens adding a dramatic touch. A member of the Leading Hotels of the World, the property opens onto beautifully landscaped and luxuriant palm-studded gardens fronting the ocean. Guest rooms are airy and spacious, with balconies or private terraces overlooking the sea. Each comes with a deluxe bathroom with tub and shower. Many expats who live in the area flock here for the Sunday afternoon jazz brunch, the most elaborate on the western part of the Costa del Sol. Top European chefs turn out carefully crafted regional specialties and well-executed international dishes.
