While the restaurant is named for the picture-perfect panorama of the town and surrounding mountainscape, the food is also terrific. Chef Russell Stephens shows an inventive eye for detail with such dishes as the walnut-crusted rainbow trout, served with garlic mashers and a grapefruit beurre blanc sauce, and a pan-seared rib-eye with garlic-bleu cheese crust and merlot sauce. The atmosphere is woodsy but refined, with hardwood floors and red-and-white-checkered tablecloths, and there is often jazz or a Celtic guitarist.
