Allenspark Lodge Bed & Breakfast

This historic property has just the right ambience for a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The three-story lodge was built in 1933 of hand-hewn ponderosa pine logs and includes a large native stone fireplace. Located in a tiny village at the southeast corner of the national park, all lodge rooms offer mountain views and original handmade 1930s pine furniture. At the top end is the Hideaway Room, with a queen-size brass bed, bear-claw-foot tub, fine linens, and a gas-log stove. Guests share the large sunroom, the stone fireplace in the Great Room, videos in the recreation room, and books in the library. A hot family-style breakfast, and afternoon and evening coffee, tea, and cookies are complimentary. There is also a hot tub, espresso coffee shop, and wine and beer bar; horseback riding is available across the street in the summer.
