Open from 1913 and shuttered in 1978, Marys Lake Lodge reopened for the 21st century in grand fashion, renovating its old lodge and building 40 condominium units on the property to boot. The old lodge rooms are funky but nice, with terrific views and some original fixtures and claw-foot tubs. The condo units sleep 2 to 10 people, and feature full kitchens, flat screen TVs, DVD players, and other modern perks. There are two restaurants: The Tavern, woodsy and casual, serving top-notch bar fare, beef, and pasta; and upscale Grandmaison's Chalet Room, with a menu heavy on Mediterranean influences and fresh seafood.
