Badr's Museum

This is the creation of local painter Badr Abdel Moghny, who started by doing paintings of village scenes around town in a distinct, grippingly earthy, and detailed style. With success he branched out to off-the-wall sculpture and more commercially oriented techniques for his paintings. The museum is a constantly expanding building, with rooms and courtyards being added all the time to accommodate the fruits of Badr's latest artistic endeavors, and is worth a visit if only to liven up your day with something completely different.
