This simple, rustic restaurant offers copious portions of food inspired by the rural traditions of the region. It’s become so well known that foodies from Lisbon and other cities come here just to try its scrumptious broad-bean soups, its roast lamb with rosemary and garlic, and its fried hake with green sauce. We also think the Portuguese sausage here is primo. The stone walls lend a cozy atmosphere to this other “sanctuary” in Fátima. Make sure to book far ahead as it is always very busy, especially on weekends.
