Getting There

RENFE, the national railway of Spain, has hourly train service between Barcelona and Figueres. All trains between Barcelona and France stop here. It's better and faster to take the train if you're coming from Barcelona. But if you're in Cadaqués, five daily SARFA buses make the 45-minute trip.

Figueres is a 40-minute drive from Cadaqués. Take the excellent north-south highway, the A-7, either south from the French border at La Jonquera or north from Barcelona, exiting at the major turnoff to Figueres.
