Hotel Firenze ReviewThis former student hangout and now board-rated two-star hotel is still partly used as a study-abroad dorm, although its clientele ranges from college juniors to young adults to retirees. Guests are attracted by the excellent price-to-location ratio: It is tucked away on its own little piazza at the heart of the centro storico's pedestrian zone. If you're more interested in spending your time in the heart of Florence's action, this is your choice, as the rooms are bright but bland. This is a large operation without any of the warmth or ambience of a small, family-run hotel, and the concierge and management are efficient but generally indifferent.
