Getting There -- If you're driving, take N147 about 4km (2 1/2 miles) from the village of Montsoreau. About five buses run daily from Saumur; the one-way fare for the 30-minute trip is 3€ ($4.40).

Visitor Information -- The Office de Tourisme, allée Ste-Catherine (tel. 02-41-51-79-45), within the compound of the medieval abbey, is open only from May 15 to September 30.
