There are several good tour operators in Fortaleza, including Resetur, Av. Barão de Studart 1165 (tel. 085/3268-2627; www.resetur.com.br), Nettour, Av. Rui Barbosa 780 (tel. 085/3268-3099; www.nettour.com.br) and Ernatitur, Av. Barão de Studart 1165 (tel. 085/244-9363; www.ernanitur.com.br). All three offer transfers and tours to Cumbuco, Canoa Quebrada, Jericoacoara, Morro Branco, and Beach Park. Resetur charges R$30 (US$13) for a city tour, R$20 (US$8.50) for Cumbuco, R$20 (US$8.50) for Beach Park, R$30 (US$13) for Morro Branco, and R$35 (US$15) for Canoa Quebrada. Nettour's prices are comparable.

Boat Tours -- Mar Tour/Ceará Saveiros, across the street from Avenida Beira Mar 4293 (tel. 085/3263-1085 or 085/8817-8995), runs two daily boat trips along Fortaleza's waterfront. The morning tour departs at 10am and takes in the city's main beaches. The 2-hour sunset tour leaves around 4pm .
