Frommer's Review
Since this dignified museum was established in a stately looking building near Town Hall in 1878, its curators have systematically added exhibits that showcase the history and culture of Frankfurt. Collections include examples of gold and silver plateware and jewelry; pottery and porcelain; paintings, lithographs and photographs; and scaled-down models of the Altstadt at various periods of its development.
