Frommer's Review
Le Meridien Parkhotel provides warmth and personal attention to its guests, mainly from the world of commerce, who can walk over in a few minutes to the fairgrounds. It opens onto a verdant, parklike square. The hotel has been built in two sections -- an ornately decorated 1905 palace and a sleek but duller 1970s boxy wing. We prefer the older, more traditional rooms in the palais, though they are more expensive than those in the annex. Palais accommodations have a luxurious atmosphere and are individually designed. Annex units are larger, however, with high ceilings and built-in furnishings. All units come with tub/shower combos, robes, and deluxe vanity items. For families that travel upmarket, this is a favorite because of its gracious welcome and helpful staff. All rooms have soundproof windows.
