Frommer's Review
A short walk from the Botanical Gardens, this is a five-story Art Nouveau building. Some of the original architectural features have been preserved. The facade is very grand, a reddish sandstone Romantic-era pile from 1890. It stands across from the Cafe im Literaturhaus, a wining-and-drinking spot that seduces authors away from book fairs. The interior has such architectural features as skylights beaming light down onto a Belle Epoque set of furnishings. Rooms have somewhat fussy furnishings but are well kept and often contain high ceilings. Each comes with a well-maintained private bathroom with tub and shower.
