The choice of many businesspeople, this hotel is a leader among middle-bracket hotels near the Hauptbahnhof. Founded in 1889, it enjoyed its heyday in the Belle Epoque era. The rooms are modern and comfortable, though the shower-only bathrooms are small. Around the corner are lively bars, but serenity prevails inside. The windows have been soundproofed to keep out traffic noise.
