Hotel Robert Mayer ReviewThis is one of the most artfully decorated hotels in town. It's within walking distance of Frankfurt's trade fair complex. Though the building dates from 1905, the rooms date from 1994, when the manager hired 11 lesser known artists to decorate them; each imposed his or her vision on one of the bedrooms. You may find a thought-provoking jumble of furniture inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright or an anonymous Milanese postmodernist piece set adjacent to pop art. Creature comforts, however, remain high.
