The aura within this upscale B&B is small scale, intimate, and luxurious, with an intensely "decorated" look that could have been lifted directly from the pages of a Laura Ashley (or Versace) catalogue. As such, it presents a welcome change for business travelers looking for something more personalized and less anonymous than what's available within one of the blockbuster hotels closer to the fairgrounds. The town house that contains it was built in 1905 and still retains its ornate maroon sandstone facade, its curving interior staircase, and proportions that hint at its origins as an upscale private home. The full bathrooms are handsomely decorated and spotlessly maintained.
