This hotel resulted from the radical renovation of a century-old building with lots of architectural character. A team of architects and decorators with taste and talent created a conservative and elegant decor that combines lots of natural hardwoods into the kind of cozy nest in which a business or leisure traveler would feel very comfortable. Bathrooms contain tub/shower combinations and come in color schemes of black-and-white hypermodern or country-rustic schemes of blue. Overall, the hotel is comfortable, intimate, tasteful, and well mannered -- a fine alternative to one of the megahotels.
