Frommer's Review

This baroque hotel, with an elaborate zinc cap on its octagonal turret, is within walking distance of Freiburg's major attractions and the rail station. This has been one of the top hotels in town for a long time, although its services and style aren't as good as the Colombi's. The attractively furnished rooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are among the most comfortable in town. Bathrooms have tub/shower combinations. Breakfast is the only meal served.
