This hotel in the center of the Vieille Ville was created from a former bank. Beautifully restored in bright Provençal colors, L'Aréna is an appropriately informal beach-town retreat. Each of the small but comfortable rooms opens onto a garden area where tropical plants give the air a sweet smell. Furnishings and mattresses are comfortable and simple, but not at all plush. Likewise, bathrooms are tidy and small. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is a good value for the area.
