In the southwestern part of Galway, at the corner of an open market area called "The Small Crane," this rustic pub is known for its nightly musical entertainment. From 9pm every night, there's blues, country-and-western or traditional Irish music, and even occasional poetry slams. Downstairs the music is free; upstairs it will cost you from nothing (most nights) to about €20, depending on who's playing.
