Frommer's Review
This is the kind of cafe where Charles Kuralt might have come to talk with the locals. With only five tables, a few booths, and a handful of counter stools, it's real Americana. Your waitress might be a spry 80-year-old. Breakfast is a very filling event: grits or hash browns served with eggs, a Cajun omelet, or blueberry pancakes. At lunch, you can have selections like jambalaya, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and fried green tomatoes. This is the Old South -- plenty of hospitality but no nonsense.
