April through September (depending on the weather), this is where you want to camp if you can get a spot. The campground is located near the southern end of Lower St. Mary Lake and provides an inexpensive overnight stop with access to the east side of the park and the tourist facilities at the St. Mary Lodge. There are also showers ($2) and a laundromat.
