Frommer's Review
This handsome log B&B sits back in the woods with a beautiful view of Mount St. Nicholas in the distance. The rooms are small but beautifully decorated in mountain lodge style, very comfortable and each with a private bathroom. Four rooms have queen-size beds; the fifth has a king bed and a whirlpool tub. The centerpiece of the inn is the great room, a large open living room dominated by a large fireplace with a three-story river-rock chimney. There is also a large deck where you can sit in awe of the Glacier Park peaks. Kelly Hostetler, who owns the B&B with her husband, Les, provides a full breakfast and evening wine and hors d'oeuvres as part of the price. She'll also cook a gourmet dinner for guests for an additional $25 per person. Paola Creek attracts a vigorous outdoor crowd who are up and out in the morning for hiking, kayaking, or fishing on the Flathead River. Although it is about 15 miles (24km) from here to the West Glacier park entrance, this is an excellent place to stay.
