Planning a Trip

Getting There

The sleepy-looking rail station in Golfe-Juan is on avenue de la Gare. To get here, you'll have to transfer from a train in Cannes. The train from Cannes costs 1.80€ each way. For railway information, call tel. 36-35, or visit www.voyages-sncf.com. Buses operated by Envibus (tel. 04-93-64-18-37) make frequent trips from Cannes; the 20-minute trip costs 1€ each way; from Nice, the 90-minute trip costs 1.30€ each way.

You can drive to Golfe-Juan or Vallauris on any of the Riviera's three east-west highways. Although route numbers are not always indicated, city names are clear once you're on the highway. From Cannes or Antibes, N7 east is the fastest route. From Nice or Biot, take A8/E80 west.

Visitor Information

The Office de Tourisme (www.vallauris-golfe-juan.fr) is on boulevard des Frères-Roustan, Golfe-Juan (tel. 04-93-63-73-12; fax 04-93-63-21-07), and another on square du 8-Mai, 1945 Vallauris (tel. 04-93-63-82-58; fax 04-93-63-13-66).
