Frommer's Review
This is one of the largest resorts on Guadeloupe, but because it's divided into four distinct sections, you'll get a sense of isolation and privacy. It's alongside two sandy beaches within a lush setting of lawns, trees, hibiscus, and bougainvillea, and it has a strong French Creole flavor.
The most upscale section is Les Palmes, which was completed in 2002 and has the best furnishings and the most spacious rooms. Second is Le Creole, a three-story building with verandas influenced by French colonial architecture. Slightly less desirable is Le Mahogany, a comfortable compound with oceanfront rooms (most without kitchens). The most basic, Le Yucca, houses the family units with kitchens. Most rooms are spacious and contain two queen-size beds. All units contain a private bathroom, most with a shower (one-fourth of them feature a tub/shower combination).
La Route des Epices serves excellent local specials and an international cuisine. Le Zawag lies just on the rocks by the sea, offering fresh fish and seafood.
Facilities: 2 restaurants; bar; snack bar; outdoor pool; deep-sea fishing; sailboat rentals; scuba diving; water-skiing; windsurfing; room service; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; rooms for those w/limited mobility
