Built in 1976 and virtually reconstructed in 2000, this low-rise, concrete-sided hotel has a faded style, evoking the kind of motel you might find in a small town somewhere in Florida. It's on the crest of a steep hill overlooking the town, within a 7-minute walk of the beach. The hotel is small-scale, intensely local, and unpretentious. It consists of one two-story central core (which houses the restaurans) and three white one-story buildings, with doors to each room painted a different primary color. The buildings are clustered around a swimming pool, the resort's focal point. Management is cordial, albeit a bit blasé.
