For more than 40 years, innkeeper Denny Becker has been building and tweaking and rebuilding his B&B, literally located in the treetops in Wilson, about 10 minutes from Jackson at the foot of Teton Pass. From the road, it is almost 100 steps up to the front door, and the curious design is a perfect fit for the surroundings, and an ideal spot for bird watching—no, it is not an actual treehouse, but an architectural marvel that melds the best of a treehouse with a real home. Most rooms have decks and views of Jackson Hole; some can accommodate up to 4 guests. Heart-healthy breakfasts with no eggs or meat include breakfast banana splits with yogurt, and Denny is an awesome resource for exploring Grand Teton National Park.
