This is the best resort for scuba divers, lying as it does near the ocean. Much of it looks like a moderately priced motel in Florida. The inn offers its own full-service dive shop and a private boat. You don't come here for luxurious bedrooms, but each unit is spacious, well furnished, and comfortable. Most contain small refrigerators as well, and each comes with a private balcony with a view over the channel and Port Lucaya. The hotel operates free shuttle service to the beach and maintains a solar-heated pool. If you're a diver, ask about the various dive packages available when booking a room; some of the best dive sites lie only a 5- to 10-minute boat ride away. The on-site Seafood Restaurant & Bar specializes in preparing the fresh catch of the day.
