RestaurantsIce Cream at the Fountain -- Adjacent to Bright Angel Lodge along the footpath overlooking the South Rim, the Fountain allows a great break from the midday sun. Order a hand-dipped cone with Dreyer's ice cream and relax on the patio in front. The Fountain also sells other reasonably priced snacks, such as hot dogs, sandwiches, fruit, and trail mix. Open daily 10am to 8pm April through September, daily 11:30am to 5pm October, November, Feburary, and March (closed Dec-Jan).
