If you quibble over facts, you'll detect flaws in the 34-minute IMAX presentation, Grand Canyon -- the Hidden Secrets, which is the most watched IMAX film ever. For example, it shows the ill-fated members of General Powell's crew leaving the expedition by going down a side drainage that is clearly not Separation Canyon. But if you concentrate on the big picture -- and the picture here is very, very big -- you'll love the IMAX. Every inch of the six-story-high, 82-foot-wide screen is taken up by stunning footage of the canyon. Among the highlights: whitewater rafting that makes you feel as if you might drown, insects blown up to the size of buildings, and aerial footage from inside some of the canyon's rock narrows. Adjacent to the theater are a small food court and a National Geographic visitor center with information from the Arizona Office of Tourism.
