Frommer's Review
Whimsical and tongue-in-cheek, this charming spot occupies a modern building very close to Grand Cayman's only movie theater. The venue is deceptively simple: At first glance, you might imagine you're in a cafe that just serves coffee and drinks, but a quick peek at the menu reveals a sophisticated medley of pizzas, salads, Caribbean-style rotis (pancake-type bread with various fillings), and a full bar serving the fiesta-colored drinks you might expect at a breezy beachside joint. The caramelized scallops served with mango-flavored salsa are an excellent starter. Caesar salads can be garnished with grilled chicken or grilled shrimp. Pizzas can be livened up with all sorts of toppings, including slices of jerk chicken and lamb sausage. Other offerings include pastas (such as a three-cheese chicken fettuccine) and an oft-changing array of daily specials and soups. Canada-born Tom and Meg Lasley are your charming and hardworking hosts, whose culinary philosophy directs them to create all their food "from scratch" using only the finest and healthiest ingredients.
