Frommer's Review
Don't you love the name? Even though it's a mere strip-mall cafe, the joint is warmly decorated with old wooden tables and floors, modern Italian chairs, mirror mosaics, and even a fake brick wall to add a more old-fashioned ambience. At this local favorite, you can begin with Belgian waffles in the morning and homemade soups or the lobster medallions later in the day.
Each day a special is posted for lunch, perhaps baked chicken with basmati rice and fresh vegetables. Among the most tempting platters are a cranberry brie salad with toasted nuts or a sesame-encrusted tuna with a shiitake mushroom salad. You might also go for the chicken tandoori wrap. Desserts are rich and luscious, especially the carrot cake with a cream cheese glaze or the cheesecake with strawberries served with freshly whipped cream.
