Morrison's Rogue River Lodge

If you're in the area to do a bit of fishing or rafting, I can think of no better place to stay than at Morrison's. Perched on the banks of the Rogue, this fishing lodge epitomizes the Rogue River experience. The main lodge is a massive log building that's rustic yet comfortable, with a wall of glass that looks across wide lawns to the river. Although there are B&B-style accommodations in the main lodge, the cabins seem more appropriate in this setting. The spacious cabins stand beneath grand old trees, and all have good views of the river. Fireplaces will keep you warm and cozy in the cooler months. The dining room serves surprisingly creative four-course dinners ($38-$42). Fishing and rafting trips are the specialty here, and, in addition to amenities listed below, there is also a private beach and a putting green.
