Frommer's Review
The main house dates from the late 19th century, when architecture and design in Mexico were borrowing heavily from Victorian and French (afrancesado) styles. It has been painstakingly remodeled. The rooms are decorated and furnished with period furniture, wallpaper, and wainscoting. There are six period rooms in the house, and in back of the property are larger modern suites, some of which have Jacuzzis. Several of these rooms surround a large cactus garden (it feels more like a cactus forest because these ancient cacti have grown so tall) and afford views of the nearby mountains. Rooms contain one king or two queen beds and have spacious, well-equipped bathrooms. Breakfast can be served in the dining room, on the terrace, or in the guest's room. The cocktail area serves drinks until 10pm.
