This bizarrely named hotel has large standard rooms and yet retains a of uniquely Chinese feel. Located just on the edge of the sprawling military district, most of its clients are either trainee teachers or army officers, with the occasional foreign tour group. Watch out for all the army-licensed SUVs that charge around nearby, immune to the law and seemingly unaware of pedestrians.
