Frommer's Review
This long-standing and popular Zona 10 hotel has aged well. The Grand Lobby, while not huge, features stately marble floors and a beautiful domed ceiling with intricate stained-glass work. The rooms have all been regularly updated to Westin's corporate standards, with their trademark "Heavenly Sleep & Shower" beds and fancy shower heads. Standard rooms come with either one king or two queen-size beds. Because the hotel is built in an arc, rooms on the east side are slightly larger. The junior suites have separate sitting rooms and 29-inch flatscreen televisions. The sixth floor is dedicated to families, particularly those with small children or those visiting Guatemala to finalize adoptions. The executive floors have a few more business perks, including in-room fax machines and a small TV in the bathroom. The large pool is the best hotel pool in the city. The hotel has a free airport shuttle, and high-speed Internet connections are available in every room for a fee.
